Portraits of Florence

Whilst I’ve been roaming the streets in Florence the past few days I’ve come to know about Blub, an ananoumus artist who puts a spin on classic paintings. The artists take on classics is a massive contrast to the other artworks that fills the streets and cathedrals. In a undercover interview with Tiana Kai Blub said:

Renaissance art in Florence is still strong and hides today’s art that is alive and contemporary, so by using icons of the past with diving masks the theme presents a mix between the past and the contemporary world. There is no need to deny the past in order to look at the present, but at least acknowledge it.

Here is a collection of the ones I have found within a four day span across the capital of Tuscany.
