20 by 20

Summer always makes me feel inspired and motivated to become closer to the person I want to be. Healthier, happier and more content. After watching re-watching Rachel Nguyens “30 by 30” I figured why not make my own list with things I would like to improve within the next 7 months, before I turn 20. Overall, I’ve had a very difficult year mentally and I truly hope that by making this list I can continue to motivate myself even during the heavier moments when nothing seems to be going my way.

My 20 by 20

  • Send more letters

  • 2.Save an increased amount of money

  • 3.Buy flowers frequently to the people I love

  • 4.Vote

  • 5.Become fairly fluent in ASL (being able to fully understand news in American sign language)

  • 6.Write more prose and poetry

  • 7.Spend less than 1 hour on the phone unless its for work

  • 8.Show emotion and feelings better

  • 9.Prioritise my yoga practice

  • 10.Learning to de- stress

  • 11. Move out of my moms house

  • 12.Learn more family history

  • 13.Read at least 10 new books

  • 14.Lower my guard, and trust people more.

  • 15.Learn Russian

  • 16. Enjoy being still

  • 17. Travel to 2 new countries

  • 18. Say yes to challenges, and social situations you would normally turn your head against.

  • 19. Meal prep!

  • 20.Actually celebrate my 20th birthday with a different purpose than me
